Abbeydorney GAA Pitch Development 2006

At present Abbeydorney G.A.A Club pitch caters for all age groups from U-10 to Senior in Hurling, Football,Ladies Football and Camogie.
In order to cater for future playing needs of all age groups the Development Committee and the club intend to undertake the development of the pitch and surrounding grounds.
We envisage an overall 3-4 Year plan in which time we shall install a sand carpet all weather pitch,separate player training area,floodlighting,spectator stand and concrete pathways. At the outset we hope to start the work on the on the main playing pitch for which we have been provisionally allocated a lottery funding of €80.000. This sum leaves a shortfall of approximately €60.000.
This money needs to be raised quickly to ensure the draw down of lottery funding.
Abbeydorney G.A.A would like to invite you to make a contribution to our drive.
Initially we propose to erect business advertising boarding adjacent to the playing areas. We propose a three year contract. This will include fabrication and erection of the advertising board for a cost of €1500.
