North Kerry Intermediate Semi Final Ladies Walk 1-8 Abbeydorney 1-1 Venue Ballyduff Friday 2nd May.
Abbeydorney Intermediate team had plenty opportunities in this intermediate game at Ballyduff on Friday Night last. Despite having the majority of play failure to score up front was the main problem, This was a big improvement from recent performances and we still have the problem of trying to field teams. The future does not look bright for the remainder of the year with a lot of players away. Substitute Tom Guerin rattled the Ballyduff net with a well taken goal and Tony Maunsell (0-1)
Team Panel: Greg Fealy, Fergal Roche, Brian Fealy, Chris O'Brien, Nigel Roche, William O'Leary, Der Lawler, Joe McCarthy, Bill Maunsell, Garry Harrington, Paul McEilligott, Tony Maunsell (0-1).Tim Fealy, Tom Rice, Kevin Nolan.

North Kerry Minor League/ Championship Semi Final Abbeydorney 2-12 Causeway 2-10 Venue Causeway 4th May
Abbeydorney Minor Hurling had a lucky escape on Sunday morning with a very poor performance throughout the field. Poor puckouts and silly fouling had the team in serious trouble at half time with a lot of players not showing any effort. Brian Leen had 2 good points and a goal by Padraig Kelly from a long distances out gave Abbeydorney a glossier look than thy deserved. Half Time score Causeway 2-7 Abbeydorney 1-2. Causeway scores came from Colm Harty (0-6), Stephen Young (0-1) and Goals from Tommy Mulvihill and Muiris Delaney.
In The second half Abbeydorney had the advantage of playing with a strong breeze and slowly picked of their scores with Darragh O'Connell getting 2 points on the run. Stephen O'Connor made a big improvement in the forward line when he was introduced and Brian Leen added 3 points from play when Causeway replied with 3 points from Stephen Young and Muris Delaney (0-2). Daniel O'Mahoney went on a solo run a drove a long range cross field ball which went all the way to the net and 2 points from Darragh O'Connell leveled the scores from frees and just when it when we needed players to stand up and be counted Darragh O'Connell added 2 extra points to give Abbeydorney the advantage with 2 points to spare.
Best Player on view was Robert Murphy. Please note that this final is down for next Tuesday 6th May Time and venue Lerrig @ 7pm versus Lixnaw.
