Abbeydorney GAA Club Bord na nOg AGM will be held on next Tuesday @ 9pm at the Clubhouse meeting room. Radio Kerry Terrace Talk: Tune into Radio Kerry's Terrace talk on Monday next 17th December 6-8pm when Jerome Conway Chairman of Kerry County Board will be special guest. There will be no further news bulletins until the New Year. News 9th December 2007 Munster Council Annual Awards: The Annual AIB Munster GAA Awards were presented on Friday night last 7th December at a function at Vienna Woods Hotel in Glanmire,Cork. Darragh Ó Sé received the Footballer of the year award and Ardfert received the Munster Club of the Year Award.
Kerry Team Holiday Fund Draw Winners: The draw for the Toyota Car and other prizes in the Kerry senior team Holiday Fund Draw was held at the Gleneagle Hotel Killarney.
The following are the winners: 2008 Munster Championship Dates: Radio Kerry's Terrace Talk: Tune into Radio Kerry's Terrace Talk on Monday Night 10th December from 6-8pm when Kerry's Seamus Moynihan will be guest. GAA Social Meeting will he held on next Wednesday 12th December at 10pm to discuss details of our Annual GAA Social to be held on Saturday 12th January 2008 at Ballyroe Heights Hotel. Kerry County Board Annual Convention will be held in Killarney on Monday next 10th December at 7pm. G.A.A. The GAA Club Annual General meeting was held on today Sunday 2nd December with a large attendance 55 Members present which left the meeting room packed to capacity.
The Chairman, Secretary, and Development Treasurer were in full praise of the development committee and working Members for all the work that has been completed over the past year re- Night at the Dogs and fundraising, with the pitch in very healthy state to all weather surface. News came earlier in the week from Munster Council that the club will receive €9,000 in development grant aid. A lot of expenses were incurred this year with development in progress with 6 new members joining the ex- committee. Two Positions were up for election on the day with our present Secretary Brenda Dowling and PRO Kathleen Hayes not seeking election this year after giving great service to the Club over the years . Fr Kieran O'Sullivan was also added to our list of Patrons. Full List of Members for 2008 are as follows, Patrons: Canon Jack McKenna, Fr Moss O'Connell, Fr Tom O'Connell, Fr Pat O'Donnell, Fr Jack Fitzgerald, & Fr Kieran Sullivan.

GAA Grounds get 2.6 million in Grant aid.
The Munster Council's development Committee has allocated over 2.6million development grants for physical development in Club Grounds in each County Province to major grounds. Clubs in Kerry will benefit €441.080, Abbeydorney GAA Club has been provisionally allocated €9,000 in grant aid this week from Munster Council.
