GAA Social Meeting.
A meeting regarding our Annual GAA Socials will be held next Monday 21st December , All ticket promoters are asked to attend please as we will distribute tickets for social in January @ 8.30pm sharp.

Annual GAA Social
Our Annual GAA social in association with Abbeydorney Ladies Football Club will be held at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Saturday January 30th.
Music will be by Celebrations and Disco by Big Jim.
Tickets sellers will be calling in the new year.

Kerry Team Holiday Draw
The Kerry team holiday took place last Monday night at the County Convention in Killarney. The proceeds of the raffle will go to team holiday fund.

GAA Club AGM
Abbeydorney GAA Club held its AGM on Sunday 13th December. We had a lively meeting with a full meeting room of members for all topics, President Canon Jackie McKenna, Vice Presidents, Denis Shanahan, Tom Diggins, Desmond Shanahan, Jimmy Maloney, Tom Kearney, David Rice, Denis Dowd.
Ex-Committee: Chairman Tom Healy, Secretary John Joe Fealy, Vice Chairman Mike Leahy, Treasurer Frank Egan, Registrar Patrick Slattery, PRO Gerry Doyle, County Board Delegate Paudie Dineen, North Kerry Board Delegates Michael Leahy and Timmy Weir, Player Rep Kieran O'Connell, Club Coaching Officer Ger Maunsell, Cultural Officer John Mike Fitzgerald, Committee: Ian Maunsell, James Fealy, Mike Leen, Eamon Leen, James O'Connor, Tom Long, Kathleen Hayes, Gerry Treanor, Jackie Treanor, Tony Maunsell. Team Trainers Minor Dan O'Leary/ Liam McCarthy, Under 21 and Senior Timmy Weir, Junior/Intermediate Ian Maunsell.
Membership cut off date for 2010 is 31st March. All players please note that from 2010 it is compulsory for all players to wear helmets and the club has purchased helmets and are available through club officers at € 55.00 each.
Chairman/ Secretary's Address: Both chairman and secretary complimented the club on its Club Facilities which will be a benefit for the spectators for the future. Wall ball and Stand were future plans, Senior Hurlers were very unlucky with Kilmoyley and the Intermediates and Under 15 team brought home the silverware for 2009. The club lost a number of finals during the year and it is good to reach finals at all age groups.
Lá na gClub was the highlight of the year with a very good turnout on the day and a healthy balance report for 2009.

Christy Ring Champions 15
Congratulations to Shane Brick and Tom Murnane Kilmoyley who were selected on the Christy Ring Champions 15 this week, both players have played very well with Kerry. The awards will be be presented to winners at a special ceremony in Croke Park on December 19th.

Kerry Team Holiday Fund
Kerry Team Holiday fund draw will be held in Gleneagle Hotel Killarney on Monday next December 14th at Kerry County Boards Convention

North Kerry Hurling Board Meeting
A full meeting of the North Kerry Hurling Board will be held on Thursday 17th in Abbeydorney Clubhouse at 8pm, all delegate are requested to attend.
