North Kerry Under 15 Hurling
A very disappointing loss to Crotta on Thursday last put us out of the Championship we were missing eight of our starting fifteen due to injuries and players on holidays.
Sometimes people have to make sacrifices and change their plans to make matches as the coaches do, thanks to the players who didn't let the side down and the under 12s who made up the numbers. Michael O'Leary who scored 17 goals and 20pts and played with two broken fingers and I am sure if he had the full team around him we would have done well in the competition.

Abbeydorney/Kilflynn U11 Community games Hurling
The Abbeydorney/Kilflynn U11 community games hurlers made history on Saturday last when they reached the Munster Community games final. This was the first time ever to see a Kerry hurling side in the Munster Final.
The boys played Sixmilebridge in the Semi final. From the beginning of this match our boys played with great heart and Abbeydorney/Kilflynn had a nice lead at half time. The boys played with great confidence in the second half and came out worthy winners 4-04 to 1-01.This score saw them into the Munster Final.
Abbeydorney/Kilflynn played Douglas of Cork in the Final. Douglas got the better start here and went up a goal and a point in the first couple of minutes however the Kerry boys fought back well and only a point separated the teams at half time. The Abbeydorney/Kilflynn boys played the second half of this match with great determination and all the boys played their heart out but unfortunately the luck seem to be on the Douglas side 5-03 to 2-03 on the day and Douglas got Gold but our boys collected silver Munster medal for their fantastic hurling.
Keith O'Connor guarded the goals brilliantly on the day. The full back line of Aodhan McKenna, Eoin McCarthy and Robbie Sheehan didn’t put a foot wrong in both matches. Adam Maunsell, Sean Holden and Mickey Clifford showed great skill on the day in the centre back line. Darragh O Donaghue played with Thomas O hÀinifèin at centre field. Darragh point all the frees and 65’s on the day. Thomas played some great hurling with some great determination . The centre forward line of Oisin Maunsell, Dean O Brian and Sean Murnane took some great scores on the day. The inside line of forwards of Darragh Murnane, Shane Donovan and Shane Conway also helped with scoring. Sean Murphy and Sean Byrne also played their part with the team as they played very well when they came on. Jack O Hara Parker and James Sheehan were also on this panel but were away on Holidays for the Munster final.
Well done to Tony Maunsell and Paul O'Donaghue who have trained these boys over the last few months. Also a special word of thanks to Patsy O Connell who is involved with the community games and is always available to help. Thanks to all the supports who travelled to support the team on Saturday
Both clubs greated them on their journey back home
