County Senior Hurling Championship Draw
The draws for the Senior Hurling Championship were made last Saturday Abbeydorney vs. St Brendan's, Ballyduff vs. Lixnaw, Kilmoyley vs. Crotta O'Neill's, Causeway vs. Ballyheigue.

Community Games
Abbeydorney/Kilflynn will represent Kerry and compete in the Community Games hurling at LIT Limerick on Saturday 2nd July in the preliminary rounds.

North Kerry Intermediate S/Final: Causeway 1-13 Abbeydorney 1-10
Causeway defeated Abbeydorney by 3 points on Tuesday evening last. Goals by Cyril Dineen Causeway and PJ Ryan Abbeydorney, while up front for Causeway Adam White and Tony Cunningham Abbeydorney were best for their Clubs.

Cumann na mBunscoil 2011: Div 3 Abbeydorney / Killahan 4-4 Dingle 2-2
Abbeydorney team played against the breeze in the first half and despite a lot of possession they were behind at half time
1-2 to 0-1. Abbeydorney team came more into the game in the second with Jordan Walsh putting in a great display all over the pitch along with Killian Spillane who picked off some great scores.

North Kerry Under 10 Hurling Blitz
Abbeydorney had a great day out on Saturday last with wins in all their games and winning out the Competition and we will have some fine hurlers for the years ahead, Kilmoyley won the B section.Teams that took part were Lixnaw, Kilmoyley, Ballyheigue, Crotta O'Neill's, St Brendan's, Ballyduff, Causeway, and Na Gael who had some good games in the competition for their first year.

County Under 13 Hurling Final: Ballyheigue 10-10 Abbeydorney 5-6
Goals by Rory McNamara, Conor Galway and Cormac Slattery had Ballyheigue well ahead at half time playing with the breeze while Abbeydorney had some close chances of scoring, Ballyheigue's tall full forward Rory McNamara caused plenty damage in the second half but Abbeydorney had a very young side out on the night.

County Senior Hurling League: Abbeydorney 2-15 Lixnaw 2-13
In a very tight match with the minimum between the sides all through this match Lixnaw were on top for most of the time scoring a goal in each half to keep the ahead with James Flaherty causing plenty problems for Abbeydorney half back line, H/T Abbeydorney 0-8 Lixnaw 1-7.
In the second half Abbeydorney missed some easy chances up front but it was Brian Leens 2 goals that we got the better of Lixnaw. Abbeydorney have 6 pts in the Senior Co League from three games.

Christy Ring Cup
Members of the Kerry Senior Hurling team visited the Clubhouse on Sunday evening with the Christy Ring Cup all Juveniles and Parents were delighted with the cup on the night local player Darragh O'Connell was on hand for photos with the Cup and we wish him well on his travels to the USA for the next few weeks. Thanks the Kerry Hurling panel also for coming.

In a very windy and showery conditions Abbeydorney got the better of a very young Ballyheigue side with scores very hard to come due to the weather,two goals by Aidan Healy and Nigel Roche put ODorney in a comfortable lead and both teams deserve credit for going out in the night. Abbeydorney Seniors will play Crotta O'Neill's in the S/Finals on Tuesday next the 14th June in Crottas new pitch surface so come out and support the team.Starting at 7-15pm.

Kerry Hurlers celebrate their Christy Ring Cup Final victory

Christy Ring Final: Kerry 2-21 Wicklow 2-8 venue Croke Park
Kerry Senior hurlers made no mistake with the Christy Ring final this year and ran out easy winners. From the start Kerry were much sharper up front. Local player Darragh O'Connell put in a fine performance scoring 1-9.

Munster Football Championship: Kerry defeated Limerick in the Junior and Senior Championship on Saturday evening in Gaelic Grounds.

County Intermediate Championship: Abbeydorney 2-18 Lixnaw 1-11
Abbeydorney's second team had a good win on Monday evening last in Abbeydorney. Two goals in the first half by PJ Ryan and Aonrai Donovan had us ahead at half time 2-7 to 1-9 against the breeze. Tony Cunningham and Kieran O'Connell had some very good scores in the second half. This match was doubled up with NK Intermediate Championship.
