The VHI Kerry GAA Summer Camps commence on June 30th to 4th July for Hurling at Ballyduff GAA Club with Maurice Leahy
Contact 087 7731327. Any Child can turn up on the day with their parents and register at the camps. All children are asked to bring water and packed lunch.

Munster Football Final Tickets
Any Club Member requesting tickets for Munster Football Tickets must submit their name at GAA Club House Notice Board stating type of tickets required.
Covered Stand Tickets cost €35. Uncovered €30. Terrace €25.
Tickets will go on public sale on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
 
North Kerry Hurling Meeting
The next North Kerry Hurling Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday July 2nd in Abbeydorney GAA Club with a C.C.C Meeting at 8.30pm. The North Kerry Senior League is due to be played next Friday night check with club officers re-game going ahead.
 
Kyrie Eleison Annual Cemetery  Mass will be held on Tuesday 1st July @ 8pm at Killahan on Friday 4th July @ 8pm
 
Credit Union County Junior League Div 3B: Abbeydorney 1-6, Laune Rangers 1-6 Venue Dromakee Wed 25th June
Laune Rangers had the better of exchanges of this Junior Hurling League game on Wednesday night last up 1-2 to 0-3 points coming from Mark Callaghan (0-2), Chris O'Brien (0-1) with Abbeydorney squandering plenty chances in the first half with the aid of a strong breeze. Laune Rangers continued to play well and added  4 points in the second half while Abbeydorney added 1-3 with the last point well into injury time coming from a free from Chris O'Brien. Mark Callaghan ( 1-0), Chris O'Brien ( 0-2), Paul McElligott (0-1). Thanks to Crotta O'Neill's Club for use of their Pitch.

The North Kerry U10 Hurling Blitz was held at Hermitage Park Lixnaw on Saturday morning last with 3 games for the Under 10 hurlers, Abbeydorney 0-0 Causeway 1-1, Abbeydorney 3-0, Kilmoyley 3-0, Abbeydorney 1-0 Lixnaw 5-0.

Abbeydorney GAA Club held a very succesfull benefit night at the dogs at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium Tralee on Saturday night last. Night at the Dogs
Abbeydorney GAA Club will hold their Night at Dogs on next Saturday 21st June @ 7.45pm at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium Tralee. This sould be a good family night out for all families and members of the Club.
Music will be provided after the 12 races. Bouncing Castles will also be provided for the childrens' entertainment. Tickets cost €5 or €10. on the night. Thanks to all who supported our fundraiser night.

Credit Union County Senior Hurling League: Crotta O'Neills 1-11, Abbeydorney 0-7 Venue Dromakee 8th June
Abbeydorney Seniors  had a very poor performance on Sunday night last at Dromakee. Crotta were well ahead 1-6 to 0-2 with John O'Sullivan and Damien Ryall 1 point each. Crotta's scores came from Matt Lynch 1-1, Andrew Keane 0-3, Colm McEilligott and Johnathan Claffery 1point each. Abbeydorney scored  5 points in the second half with Barry Sheehan and Aidan Healy 1pt each  and Tim Fealy 0-3.

U14 County Hurling League: Ballyheigue 7-6, Abbeydorney 3-3 Venue Dromakee Thursday 12 June
Ballyheigue had 5 goals in the first half and were in the lead throught this match with their team more balanced than O'Dorney.

U12 Football: Abbeydorney U12 Footballers had 2 games last week against Currow losing that game 2-14 to 2-0, in the next game against Duagh they lost 6-10 to 4-6 but this is not bad as they are only starting off playing football again.

Cáirde Chiarraí aims to raise €1.25m to safeguard the future of Kerry GAA

North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship: Kilmoyley 1-10, Abbeydorney 0-10 Venue Lerrig Thursday 5th June.
Both teams ended level at half time 0-7 apiece scores from John O'Sullivan (0-2) Damien Ryall (0-4) Paul McElligott, and Kilmoyley's scores came from Edmund Fitzgerald (0-1), T om Murnane(0-1), Richard Gentleman (0-2) Sean Young (0-1) and Brendan Harris (0-2).
Scores were hard to come by in the second half 0-3 each Kilmoyley Richard Gentleman (0-2) and Sean Young (0-1) and Abbeydorney's scores came from  Damien Ryall (0-2) and Mike Hannifin (0-1). John B Halloran Kilmoyley keeper pulled off a good save from Mike Hannifin's ground stroke. But the turning point of this match came 10 minutes from the end when Abbeydorney were not awarded a free for a foul on John O'Sullivan and  resulting in a goal at the other end from Sean Young Kilmoyley.

Abbeydorney U14 hurlers made no mistake this time around having earlier lost to Dr Crokes but this time were up 2-13 to 0-1 at half time. Abbeydorney added 2-2 in the second half.

On Friday last poles and lights were erected and we are waiting for our generator to be installed which be installed shortly. On the Greyhound Night all races are fully sponsored thanks to all the Business in the locality. Tickets sales are progressing nicely. Thanks also to Marisa Reidy for the coverage in the local papers.
