Edward Ned Sheehan RIP
Sadness decended on Abbeydorney and North Kerry and beyond recently on the death of Edward Ned Sheehan at the age of 29 years who passed away surrounded by his family on the 27th February last.
Ned played hurling from an early age up to 1999 when he was one of the many hurling stars that brought home a County Minor Hurling title, he also played in a Minor County League game on the same year losing to Kilmoyley but they came good for the Championship title.
The GAA Club formed a Guard of Honour for him and all his friends turned out in style for Ned's final journey.
Ned left for Australia in 2010 and enjoyed his short stay when news filtered through he had to return home and he battled his illness with great bravery.
We extend sympathy to his Parents John Joe and Kathleen and his Brothers and Sister and all his relatives and friends.
