Abbeydorney recorded its first win on Sunday morning last with 3 goals in the first half by Brian O'Donovan, Brian Fealy and Barry Sheehan to lead at half time 3-4 to 0-4. Brian O'Leary side cut after half time went all the way into the net to give the Black and Amber lads a comfortable lead points by Brian O'Donovan, Brian Leen and Aidan Healy. All-Ireland Vocational Schools A Hurling Final: Causeway 3-13 Athenry 4-6 Venue Cashel.
Well done again to Causeway Vocational Schools who won at Cashel on Saturday last, Causeway trailed from the start down 6 points in the second and with 10 minutes in the second half were level 3-9 to 4-6 but Causeway finished the stronger team after a very tough match to win by 1 point with Daniel Collins, Shane Dunne and Padraig Boyle starring for Causeway. Abbeydorney minors were well defeated on Sunday evening last at Ardfert with a very depleted team. St Brendan's were up at half time 0-7 to 0-3 with O'Dorney having the aid of a strong breeze, 2 goals in the second half by Kieran Fitzgerald and Gearoid Silles early in the second half gave them a comfortable lead.

The launch of the 3rd Annual Todd Nolan Tournament will be held next Friday 26th March in the St Columbas Centre in Kilflynn at 9pm.

St Patrick's Day Parade
We had one of most successful St Patrick's Day Parades held in Abbeydorney for a good few years on Wednesday last with a very large turnout with machinery and vintage cars and floats and children on the day, we had some very colorful characters on the day. Well done to all who took part and helped out and all who subscribed to make the event such a success and our final meeting will be held on Wednesday 24th March @ 9pm

The official launch of the Todd Nolan tournament will take place in the Community Hall in Kilflynn Village on Friday night 26th March @ 9pm sharp

Munster Vocational Schools A Hurling Final: Causeway 4-13 Hazelwood College Dromcollogher 1-8 Venue Fr Casey's Abbeyfeale.

Well done to Causeway Vocational School on a fantastic win on Saturday last in Abbeyfeale with their last win in this competition back in 2001, Causeway led at half time up 2-8 to 1-5 with the goals coming from a high ball into Padraig Boyle who placed the ball into Shane Dunne who blasted to net after 20 minutes, Causeways second goal came on the stroke of half time with a good goal from Padraig Boyle with Hazel woods college player Jamie Coughlan keeping them in touch.
Causeway Rattled the net after 11 minutes with A very good goal from Daniel Collins and Padraig Boyle finished with a forth goal after 16 minutes.

This was a great win for Causeway Schools as they have a very balanced team allroads lead to Gaelic Grounds next Saturday as Causeway will play Banagher Offally lets hope the team gets plenty of support on the day and well done to our local player Chris McCarthy who plays at fullback.

St Patrick's Day
We will have our final meeting on Tuesday night in Community Hall Abbeydorney @ 8pm, All stewards and any person that wants to help out are requested to attend final preparations will be put in place for the day so please come along,

Coach Education Workshop for a while as club activity is beginning again and it is vital all coaches attend.
Two of Corks top Hurling Coaches, Eamonn Ryan & Frankie Flannery will be doing the workshop and i'd hope all clubs will be represented in big numbers.

Well done to Causeway Vocational School on claiming a back to back hurling titles on Saturday last in Kilmallock, Causeway lead at half time 2-9 to 0-10 and added 11 points in the second half, this win was badly needed for Kerry Hurling. well done to Maurice Leahy Causeway trainer and Willie Dowling Lixnaw and John Joe Delaney selectors and the Causeway team.Causeway will play Senior Hurling Next Saturday please keep in contact .

North Kerry Senior Hurling League (rd1): Abbeydorney 0-13 Crotta O'Neill's 1-12 Venue Abbeydorney Saturday 6th March
Abbeydorney were up 0-10 to 0-6 at Half time with points from Kieran O'Connell and Ian Maunsell and Darragh O'Connell 0-8 while Crotta O'Neill's had Francis Keane (1pt) and Ian McCarthy (0-2) and Andrew Keane ( 0-3).
Shane Nolan came more into the game in the second half with 4pts for Crotta while Darragh O'Connell was Abbeydorney main player playing well up front with 0-3pts from frees,
Abbeydorney missed a vital goal chance in the second half but Crotta turned the match around and scored a goal at the other end after 23 minutes and added from Tom Cronin and Andrew Keane.
