A lot of players failed to show up for this match which left the team with 1 sub for this long journey to Kenmare. Venue Lerrig 10th May.
PJ KeaneAbbeydorney U16 Hurlers Captured the North Kerry U16 A Championship Final on Tuesday Evening at Lerrig with an exhibition of long range points from frees and play by both teams. This Competition was more worthy because it was named after local player Thomas Son OSullivan from Drumcunnig Abbeydorney.
This was Exhibition hurling from the start with little between the teams. PJ Keane scored 5 points from frees and Darragh O'Connell 3 points (1f) and Padraig Kelly and Brian Leen 1 point each and the team really had put in a great effort to get back on level terms after conceding two goals midway through first quarter.
