North Kerry Coiste na nÓg 2005 Awards: The North Kerry Coiste na nÓg 2005 Awards were held at Abbeydorney GAA Clubhouse on Friday night Last with Club Officers and Parents attending. Tom Lawlor and Tommy O'Connor gave speeches about the Awards.

Kerry Senior Hurling Management Team announced Kerry Senior Hurling Management Team for 2006 over the week.
Paudie Butler, former Laois boss will Coach the Senior and U 21 Hurlers and  will be assisted by Limerick player Brian Begley. Gerry Molyneaux remains on as Manager.
Selectors Mike McKenna Lixnaw and Timmy Weir Abbeydorney and Ger Power will train the team and John O'Keefe will be responsible for weight training.

Vodafone All Stars Announced: Kerry Senior Team received 4 All Stars on Friday Night.
Diarmuid Murphy, Michael McCarthy, Tomás Ó Sé, Colm Cooper and the GAA Footballer of the Year Award went to Stephen O'Neill, Tyrone.

Scór na nÓg: It's time for cultural aspect of GAA to kick into action. The Competition is open to every Club in the County. Participants must be under the age of 17 years and registered members of their own Club. The Second semifinal of this competition is on in  Abbeydorney on Saturday 3rd December @ 8 oc

All-Ireland Ladies Intermediate Club Championship Semi Final:  Abbeydorney 5-20,  Parnells (London) 0-6    
Venue Ballyduff (Kerry)   5-11-2005
Abbeydorney Ladies had an easy run into the semi finals with a big win over Parnells of London on Saturday in Ballyduff. The Abbeydorney girls showed no mercy in the first half scoring 3-7 to 0-0 in the first seventeen minutes which left the match as good as over playing against the breeze. Parnells replied with 3 points before half time to leave the score 5-11 to 0-3.
Abbeydorney introduced a number of subs in the second half and they added  11 points to 0-3. Parnells found it hard to keep up with the fast movement of play from the Abbeydorney girls.

After the Match all players met up at the Abbeydorney clubhouse where the player of the match was presented to Catherine Sexton. Abbeydorney Ladies will meet Clan Eireann (Armagh) in the final after they defeated Clonguish (Longford) 1-17  to 2-8

U21 Hurling Championship: Lixnaw 1-13   Abbeydorney 0-11   Venue Lixnaw    31-10-2005
Abbeydorney were in the lead up to half time with 6 points from Ivan McCarthy. Half-yome score: 0-6 to 0-5.
With both teams trying to play in very heavy conditions, the second half was a close match up the 20th minute when Lixnaw got inside Abbeydorney's defence and struck for a good goal. Abbeydorney  had futher points from Ivan McCarthy, Shane Donlan, Joe McCarthy andConor Hayes.

Musicians from all over North Kerry will perform in all-star concerts at Abbeydorney Community Centre on November 18th and The Lanterns Tarbert on November 26th. The concerts are organised by the Kerry Red Cross and money raised from the events will go towards Red Cross Relief efforts in Asia
