Kilmoyley 1-18 St Brendan's 0-9 Venue Austin Stacks Tralee.
Kilmoyley will play Causeway in the AIB Championship final on Sunday 19th October.
Club Jerseys will be on sale next Friday Evening 3rd October from 8pm to 9pm at the GAA Clubhouse. Jerseys that were ordered through the Club can be collected on this Friday night.
6 Monthly Draw
Our Annual Major Fundraising Draw will be held next Sunday 5th October @ 10.30pm we would appreciate if all Club Promoters will have their Draw books in by 9pm as this is the first draw.
Church Gate Collection
Our Church Gate Collection on Saturday and Sunday came to €655. Thanks to all who supported.
2nd Juvenile Win
Well done to our Juvenile team bringing home their second trophy this week with the County Under 12 Hurling Championship run off in a Blitz format with Abbeydorney winning the Div 2 Final.
Abbeydorney defeated Lixnaw in the first game and then lost to Ballyheigue and in the third game they drew with Dr Crokes, Abbeydorney were paired off with Kilmoyley in the final and Kilmoyley gave Abbeydorney a severe hammering at the start of the year with 20 points the difference between the teams and Abbeydorney defeated Kilmoyley on Saturday at Dr Crokes pitch in extra time.
Well Done to Mike Leahy and Dan O'Leary for keeping the team focused throughout the day. Stephen O'Sullivan was Captain for the Blitz and Anthony Rigney was Abbeydorney's Best Player in the Final and Michael O'Leary was Best Player in All the Games.

Minor Hurling Championship Q/Final: Abbeydorney 2-18 Crotta O'Neill's 1-9 Venue Abbeydorney Saturday 27th September.
Brian Leen was first to score after the throw in and Abbeydorney settled down very well taking their points on the run from Darragh O'Connell (0-6) and frees with Daniel O'Mahoney scoring 2 excellent point from wing forward. Crotta replied with points from Aaron Sheehan (0-2f) and Shane Nolan (0-1) while Brian Leen finished to the net after a long range free Daniel O'Leary and Brian Leen had a point each. Crotta replied with points from Keith Hannifin and John O'Connor at Half time Abbeydorney 1-10 Crotta 0-5.
In The second half Abbeydorney added 8 points from Brian Leen and Darragh O'Connell (0-1) each and 2 points each from Padraig Dignan and Daniel O'Leary put Abbeydorney in a very comfortable lead. Shane Nolan added 2 points for Crotta when Darragh O'Connell went on a long solo run and finished to the net with a good goal, Liam Cleary pulled off a good save for the black and ambers boys and Chris McCarthy made two good block downs and followed up and stuck the ball over the bar. Crotta's Eoin Kelly struck for a goal in the last few minutes of the game and points from Aaron Sheehan and Keith Hannifin when Daniel O'Leary finished with a point from 45yard line.

County Under 12 Hurling League Final Replay Abbeydorney 3-6 Crotta O'Neill's 2-8 Venue Dromakee Wed 24th September.
Abbeydorney and Crotta O'Neill's contested the under12 County League Final Replay at Dromakee on Wednesday evening last, both teams finished level in the previous game Crotta 4-8 Abbeydorney 3-11.
Crotta played with the aid of a strong glaring sun but it was Michael O'Leary who opened O'Dorneys score with a point from a free with Abbeydorney missing a few scoring chances in the opening minutes, Crotta came back strong in the last 15 minutes with 2 pointed frees from Darragh O'Regan with Crotta taking control with Ray Nolan scoring 2 goals, and Michael O'Leary scoring 3 pointed frees before half /time Crotta 2-5 O'Dorney 0-4.
In the second half Abbeydorney plugged away at the 7point lead and Michael O'Leary was excellent with his free taking and he kept O'Dorney well in contention with 3 good goals. Abbeydorney began to get the upper hand with Stevie O'Sullivan, Anthony Rigney at Fullback, Niall O'Mahoney, but David Egan at Fullforward began to run all over the pitch for Abbeydorney which was a big improvement from the last game with all players defending excellently.
Darragh O'Regan and Ray Nolan were Crotta's top scorers while Abbeydorney had Michael O'Leary in top form again this week scoring 3-6 and last week 2-9. Abbeydorney defended well in the dying minutes with a point the difference between the teams.
Both Clubs supporters and parents must be complimented for showing their support on both occasions.
After the game Joe Walsh Hurling Development Officer with Kerry County Board Presented the U12 Hurling League Trophy to Michael O'Leary, Abbeydorney Captain.

Abbeydorney under 15 team suffered a heavy defeat on Monday last with Murt Delaney Causeway's top scorer and Daniel O'Leary Abbeydorney top scorer.
County Under 12 Hurling Final: Abbeydorney 3-11 Crotta O'Neill's 4-8 Venue Abbeydorney Wednesday 17th September.
Crotta O'Neill's had the better of exchanges up 3-3 to 1-5 at half time with Abbeydorney's scores coming from Michael O'Leary 0-5 and Stephen O'Sullivan getting Abbeydorney's goal. Abbeydorney battled back to level the game after 15 minutes with points from Stephen O'Sullivan and Michael O'Leary. Both sides gave their supporters plenty to cheer about with some excellent scores and saves by Crotta's keeper. This match was tight right up till the end will little between the teams. The Replay has been fixed for next Wednesday at Dromakee at 6.15pm.

Abbeydorney and Ballyheigue had a lively match in Abbeydorney on Friday night last with both teams finishing level at half time Ballyheigue 1-12 Abbeydorney 4-3. Shane Dunne was Ballyheigue's major treat with some excellent scores from him while Abbeydorney had Daniel O'Leary powering home with 3-3 and Stephen O'Connor rattling the net with a well taken goal. Abbeydorney suffered a big setback losing their Centreback Stephen O'Connor just before half time with a broken thumb.
Ballyheigue were attacking in waves and had the more balanced side and picked off their goals midway through the second half and adding 10 more points while Abbeydorney's Daniel O'Leary added 1-2. Wishing speedy recovery to Stephen O'Connor.

Abbeydorney Minors created history by winning their first every Minor Hurling County League Title on Sunday last adding to their recent win in the North Kerry Minor Jimmy King Memorial. Abbeydorney first half performance gave them advantage for the remainder of the game with Darragh O'Connell 0-5, Daniel O'Leary 0-1, Brian Leen 0-2 and Daniel O'Mahoney 0-1 and Robert Murphy at Halfback 0-1 and Kenmare /Kilgarvan scores came from Glen Egan 0-3, Kieran O'Sullivan and Shane Duncan 0-1 each. The second half was a sluggish half with Abbeydorney defending well with James O'Connor, Robert Murphy, Danny McDonagh and PJ Keane best standing out, Darragh O'Connell 0-3 at mid field and Daniel O'Leary best player in the in the forwards. Kenmare/ Kilgarvan struck for a goal with 5 minutes to go and this left a tight margin right to the end but it was Darragh O'Connell's free taking the steadied the game for Abbeydorney. Kerry County Board will be running a Fundraising Banquet in aid of Kerry Senior Team next Saturday @ Brandon Hotel Tralee Saturday 13th September, Table of 10 costs €1, 500; this includes 2 free tickets, also there will be a car raffle.
Kerry Senior Football Team will have their press night on next Friday 12th September. Check Kerry GAA website for details.

North Kerry U12 Hurling Blitz
Abbeydorney U12s got off to a bad start in the (Eddie Godley Ground Hurling Competition) at Kilmoyley on Saturday last. It took the team a bit of time to adapt to the ground hurling in the first game against Crotta O'Neill's they had an early lead thanks to a Jack McCarthy goal but Crotta came back strong and won a score 4-3 to 2-3. Abbeydorney scores came from Jack McCarthy 1-0, Michael O'Leary 1-3. Even though they were beaten by Kilmoyley there was a big improvement in play with all players playing very well. The highlights of this game was the two goalies with Sean Curran Kilmoyley and Craig Freeman in Abbeydorney Goals both pulling of some excellent saves. Michael O'Leary had a fine performance at midfield for Abbeydorney with 3 points while Anthony Rigney and Colm McCarthy were excellent in defense and Stevie O'Sullivan who scored a fine goal after a fine display from David Egan and Jack McCarthy.
Abbeydorney scores came from Stevie O'Sullivan 1-0, David Egan 1-0, Michael O'Leary 0-3.
Cian McCarthy took over as goal keeper in their last game against Crotta and the highlight of this match was a great goal by Cian O'Donovan and a excellent display from all our backs especially Eric Guerin and in the forwards Jordan Walsh was most impressive.
Abbeydorney scores came from Cian O'Donovan, and Jordan Walsh 1-0 each. Kilmoyley and Crotta O'Neill's contested the final
