This Match was brought forward to Saturday night because of Kerry in National Football League Semi Final, Abbeydorney played against strong breeze in first half and played much better hurling than in the previous game with Causeway. PJ Keane was in top form in full forward and Brian O'Leary clearing from the fullback line and the Abbeydorney defence playing very well, Nigel Roche and Padraig Kelly doing a lot of work at midfield. Kenmare /Kiilgarvan came back at Abbeydorney in Second half with two points. Abbeydorney settled better in the second half with frees from Nigel Roche and PJ Keane keeping Abbeydorney in front. NB Jason Dowling made his return back to minor grade with a dazzling performance at corner forward; pity we didn't have a few more to have as reserves. A minor team without a sub!

Scor Sinsear Finals at Gleneagle Killarney: Scor Team travelled to Gleneagle on Sunday with their Novelty Act but were unsuccessful. But great credit is due to all who took part in Novelty Act.

Camogie Open Day: Newly formed Abbeydorney/Kilflynn/Lixnaw Clubs held their open day on Sunday 1st April. 25 Girls from the 3 clubs had drills and short games to get the players into action for the day. Training will continue on Wednesday next 5th April in Lixnaw Community Centre 7-8 pm until weather and pitches improve.
Coaches on Sunday were Timmy Spillane, Mike Leahy, Tom O'Connell and Ger Maunsell.
