Juvenile Presentation Night was held on Tuesday 21st
December at Community Hall. Scor acts were played for
all parents and children of the parish before medal
presentation took place. There were 3 All Ireland Cups
at Juvenile Presentation Night.
Brenda Dowling was MC for the night and introduced
Eamonn Fitzmaurice of the Kerry (All Ireland) Senior
Football Team with the Sam Maguire Cup and then introduced
Ben O’Connor Captain of All Ireland Champions
Cork. Also present were 5 members of Newtownsandrum
Team.
Eamonn and Ben both gave excellent speeches.
Breda Slattery Captain of All Ireland Abbeydorney Junior
Football Team also gave a excellent speech to all Juveniles.
Great credit to all parents for turning up on the night
with such a busy schedule with cups.
Thanks to Breda Slattery, Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Ben O’Connor
and Simon Morrissey and Newtownsandrum players for
a great night and Abbeydorney Bord na nÓg Committee
