Abbeydorney Ladies Lost To South Kerry In Minor Football Championship on Saturday last.
Abbeydorney Senior Hurlers had a Senior Challange Game versus Freemounth Limerick at Abbeydorney on Saturday last. The local team won easily in the end.

In the Ploughing Match at Clonakilty on Sunday last Tommy McCarthy came Third in 2 Furrow Reversible competition. Greyhound News Dan Brassil trained Ashmore View won The J P McManus Irish Cup at Limerick Racecourse on Sunday last With a Prize of € 65,500 . The owners are Gary Anderson & Stephen Boyle, Bressbrook, Co Down.

The Abbeydorney GAA Senior Scor Team were narrowly defeated in the Semi Finals of TheScor Quiz in Churchill.
Team: Margurite Dineen, Tom Hayes, Kieran Dineen, Tommy McCarthy.
Ballylahive wins in 2 furrow Reversible plough in Causeway.
Helping out at the Senior Hurling Training is Thomas Hanafin.
