Abbeydorney had the upper hand in the first half but Kenmare got a goal just before half time which deceived O'Dorney keeper. Half-time: 1-7 To 0-9.
In the second half O'Dorney levelled matters with a long range free; two goals midway through the second half laid the foundation for Kenmare win.

Ladies Football Reunion All present and past players met up at clubhouse on Saturday last with blitz organised for all players and the games ended with a penalty shootout. After the Blitz it was the slippery plastic for all the youths which was very enjoyable for all, with music and a barbeque till late. The Ladies had a well organised weekend with a very good programme of all past and present players pictures. (well done to all concerned)

Kilmoyley pulled away from abbeydorney in the second half of this u16 game having led at half time 0-5 to 0-1. Kilmoyley had a more balanced team.

Credit Union County Senior Hurling League rd5: Abbeydorney 0-14 Causeway 2-7 Venue Abbeydorney 16-7-2005 This was a very eagerly contested senior hurling league rd5 on saturday last. Joe McCarthy had a free in opening minutes and was pointed by Ian Maunsell and Kieran Hannafin had another. Causeway's John Mike Dooley added 2 points after 15 minutes and Ian Maunsell and Damien Ryall scored points for O'Dorney. Shane Harty and David O'Connell swapped points before John Mike Dooley buried a penalty to the net. Brian O'Leary had a free and Ian Maunsell pointed to level scores at half-time 1-3 to 0-6.
Abbeydorney played very well in the second half with points from frees by Ian Maunsell 0-5 while Shane Harty and John Mike Dooley Cyril Dineen added 1-4. Abbeydorney had good points from Kieran Hanafin (0-1) and 2 very good points from the lively Damien Ryall to give abbeydorney a 1 point win.

Abbeydorney wasted lots of chances in the first half and should have been up at least at half-time with desperate misses from frees and play. The second half gradually improved for the black and amber boys with good points from Joe McCarthy and Nigel Roche and Conor Hayes (1-1) and the dashing PJ Keane added 3points.
