North Kerry Senior Championship: St Brendan's 3-14 Abbeydorney 2-12 Venue O'Dorney 9th June
St Brendan's took complete control of this match in the first half scoring 3-8 to 1-4 and O'Dorney were only playing catch up after this in the second half. Abbeydorney did improve slightly in second half adding 1-8 but with some players failing to hold their positions in the forwards which did not leave the game open for the forwards.
Team spirit and lack of urgency with the whole team is a serious issue with a number of players back after a long holiday and only months from a Senior Hurling Championship and no County League game for months and with no losers round the future does not look bright this year. Hopefully things will improve over the next few weeks and with lots expected from a team that reached the the Championship Final last year.
