Round 2 of Credit Union Senior Hurling  League played in ideal conditions in Abbeydorney on Saturday Night Abbeydorney played against a strong breeze in the first half and played good ground hurling in stages in this first half, but gave away frees  which  Brendan O'Mahoney converted for Crotta.

On the resumption of the second half Abbeydorney put a lot of pressure on Crotta backs when they introduced Tom O'Connell to the forward line.
Two bad mistakes in Abbeydorney back line one after another let Crotta back into the game, Abbeydorney put on the pressure again to leave thefinal score 4-10 to 3-8 in favour of Abbeydorney,

U 14 Football Co League Annascaul 4-13 Abbeydorney 3-3 ( Match Report)
Annascaul 4-13 Abbeydorney 3-3Our under 14 team played away to Annascaul on Saturday 27th March last in the Lee Strand Co. League. We opened the score with a long range point by Brian Leen followed by another from Damian Hanley. Annascaul responded with a goal and  2 points and Darragh O Connell got a far out goal to level the game. Annascaul responded again with 2 goals and 3 points and again Darragh scored a goal followed by a point from Daniel O Leary to bring the half time score to 3-6 to 2-3 in favour of Annascaul.

At the restart of the second half Annascaul pulled out a further advantage with 7 points, noticeable to substitutions. PJ Keane kept us within touch with a goal and we were unlucky not to be awarded 2 penalties with James O Connor been brought down twice on the edge of the small parellogram. Annascaul kept the pressure on us until the end and the score was kept respectable with good play by Ciara Neenan on the back line and Arron Sheehan in midfield. A good clean sporting game was played by both teams with the final score 4-13 to 3-3 in favour of Annascaul.
