Abbeydorney advanced to the Quarter Finals of the AIB Senior Hurling  Championship on Friday  night last in Lewis Road in Kilarney. Abbeydorney had the better of exchanges thanks to Aidan Healy, Mike Hanafin, Beano O'Donovan&  Ivan McCarthy.
0-4 pts up after 10minutes, Kenmare had 2 points from Sean Ryan & TP O'Connor, Beano O'Donovan collected a long ball from  Aidan Healy to crash the ball into Kenmare net.
Three late points for Kenmare came from Erol Tohy, Sean Ryan & TP O'Connor

The second half was a very poor performance for Abbeydorney Supporters who came with Colour.
Abbeydorney finished with 7 points without reply. Abbeydorney players will have to a serious review of their performance after this game if they are to go any further in this Championship.
