Our Under 12 footballers had a great away win against Skellig Rangers in Portmagee on sunday 20th June. Nigel O'Brien
opened the score with a goal and a point followed with 3 points by Tony Cunningham and 2 goals and 1 point byStephen Egan. Nigel put over another point just before half time bringing the score to 3-6 to 2-4 to Abbeydorney.
On the start of the second half Skellig Rangers pulled back the score to within 2 points and Tony Cunningham kept us ahead with 3 goals and 1 point. A quick positional change between goalkeeper Brendan O'Leary and Christopher McCarthy gave us fresh legs in centre field and saw Brendan score 4 points and Daniel O'Leary a goal and 1 point bringing the final score to 7-13 to 3-8.
